In time for the 2026 bloom season, we’re pleased to make available a current list of all 486 rose varieties planted in the gardens — viewable on smart phones.

Alphabetized by commercial name, the list includes the type of rose, color and location in the gardens. Roses new to the gardens in 2026 are marked with an asterisk. You can cross-reference the listed location with the CPOR map at the bottom of the rose list document.
The map includes the names of key garden areas. The same map is printed in free CPOR brochures located in dispensers on several kiosks throughout the gardens. In addition, each rose bed has a small label stake indicating the rose’s name and type. Seen here, from top to bottom, are Candy Cane Cocktail Blooms, Eau de Perfum Bubbly and Uptown Girl.
You can access the complete 2026 rose list from parkofroses.org >Visit >Plant Lists.

For your convenience, roses new to the gardens in 2026 are found within the updated rose list. You can find the locations of all roses posted here. Enjoy the gardens!

When is a good time to visit for high bloom activity? When are, in general, are peak bloom periods?
Thank you!
Doug Caldwell
The roses are generally in the first peak bloom in early June. They continue to bloom throughout the summer, but not as many as once. In the fall, there is another peak bloom. Enjoy
